Flipdish was founded in 2015 by two brothers in Dublin. It provides a branded website, app, or self-service kiosk to restaurants that enables them to directly accept digital orders in their own branded interface, giving them more control over their customer experience.
As Flipdish rapidly expanded into new markets across Europe and the US, it wanted to ensure a seamless customer experience for restaurants and their patrons. Stripe Terminal gives Flipdish customers quick, simple integrated payment experiences
Flipdish released a kiosk product powered by Stripe Terminal, which is available in the US, and soon in the UK and Ireland. Kiosks offer a centralised option as more restaurants take orders digitally, even at the table. With Terminal, both online and physical payment methods made by restaurant patrons are unified through Stripe. Terminal also allows restaurants to get paid in the same way—whether through kiosks or online—without going through multiple onboarding processes for payments.
